Reveal the Journey

Life is an eventful journey; an odyssey that starts when one is born, and continues throughout until the heart stops beating. Often, I think about the throughout part of the journey.  I think about the differences and similarities between each other’s path.  It is very interesting to me how people can have very distinct personalities but have so much in common with each other without knowing it.  Many times we encounter situations or enter into relationships with people whom we perceive to be our opposites.  We tend to judge people, sometimes just by looking at them, and with certainty detach ourselves by highlighting the apparent differences.  But, when we finally stop to think about it and allow ourselves to look beyond what’s just visible to the eye, we tend to realize that we can relate to others much more than we ever can imagine.

After many years leaving in an internal isolation, thinking that I was so far from being able to relate to many, I realize that behind people’s mask of toughness, of better or less, the I am stronger or weaker, richer or poorer, smarter, taller or smaller, cuter or uglier, there is a being with desires, wants, and needs that correlates with the world.  Because of this, I have been eager to write.  The desire to make connections with others has grown.  The wish to help someone uncover and embrace their faith journey, their call in life.  The desire that I can use this platform to unite with people in thoughts, share philosophies and simple thoughts has developed with the hope that it may prompt positive reaction that carries forward and inspire a good day for someone I don’t know.

By no means have I claimed to be a writer, I just want to uncover ideas and thought patterns that can help reveal the faith journey that we are all traveling through whether we know it or nor.
